Werribee Open Range Zoo

Our precast expertise was obtained for the 2013 Werribee Open Range Zoo redevelopment for the main entrance and souvenir shop.

The brief was to create a rammed earth look to align with zoo's branding and African safari theme. Due to the project size, it was not possible to use rammed earth or in-situ as structural durability wouldn't have been achieved.
However, with the use of precast concrete the look was successfully accomplished while ensuring a quality and consistent build, structural integrity and a speedy installation. What could have perhaps been a 2-3-month project was installed in two days, which is yet another key benefit of prefabricated concrete structural systems.
